The Portland is a brand new stylish and practical wooden bunk bed from Birlea. This bunk bed is a modern take on the traditional shaker style, and it features a wonderful combination of vertical and horizontal straight lines. The Portland solid pine bunk bed features high side rails and a robust fixed ladder which contribute to its safe design and long-lasting durability. This traditional bunk bed includes a single sleeping surface on both the top and bottom bunk. The Portlland can also be split into two separate single beds as and when the need arises.
This bunk bed is manufactured from a high-quality solid pine frame, which is available in a stylish painted white or a natural antique pine hard-wearing finish. The Portland also features solid slatted bases on both bunks which ensures an optimum firm support, and a prolonged mattress life due to an increased air flow.

We offer a variety of different delivery options here at The Sleep Station - here are explanations of the most common ones.
Next Day / Pick a Day Delivery
- Available on certain items - For next day delivery order must be placed before 12pm.
- On the day of delivery you will get an email/text from the delivery company with a 2 hour time window and a tracking number.
- We currently use XDP for our next day deliveries - they can be contacted on 08431 782222
- Some manufacturers may use their own Next day couriers (Relyon, Emporia, Airsprung) They will contact you direct to arrange an ETA.
Two Man Room of Choice Service
- Depending on the manufacturer these delivery times vary (this ETA is shown on the individual product pages.)
- Once the item is in with our carrier they will call 2-3 days prior to delivery with a 3 hour timed window and they can also call on the day.
- This 2 man team will take the item to your room of choice.
- Collection & Assembly services are only available with this option.
- We currently use Point to Point for most of our 2 man deliveries - they can be contacted on 01933 522072.
Special delivery options
- Some manufacturers such as Sweet dreams offer an Express Delivery service which is quicker than our normal 2 man service - they will contact you direct to arrange delivery.
-Saturday delivery is available on most Pick a Day items but costs extra.
- Some out of the way areas may take a little longer for delivery but we do not normally charge any extra.
Collection of you Old Bed/Mattress
- On certain items we offer either a paid or Free collection of your old Mattress/Bed - please not that this service is not avaialble in conjunction with the Pick a Day Service, or Express Delivery (Sweet Dreams) also it may not be possioble to do a collection from certain areas - please contact us prior to purchase for more information.
